The web-site was set-up by David and Cathy to keep friends and family in touch during a year spent in Peru. .

David worked at the International Potato Center in Lima, Peru in the world potato and sweet potato germplasm bank.

During our year in Peru we used the website to record pictures and descriptions of things of interest. Picture galleries were linked to the monthly pages.

David was not certain of getting round the marathon because of the disruption to his training so didn't ask for sponsorship before the race. However, he did get round and is now collecting for the relief effort in the area of Peru just south of Lima worst struck by the earthquake earlier this year. If you would like to donate something let me know by email and I will forward the money from the pledges to a local charity working in the area.
